THE SYSTEM IS RIGGED:

It’s “rigged” by the Electoral College. No state has fewer than three votes there - one for each member of the House of Representatives and one for each state’s two Senators:

Each State shall appoint, in such Manner as the Legislature thereof may direct, a Number of Electors, equal to the whole Number of Senators and Representatives to which the State may be entitled in the Congress: but no Senator or Representative, or Person holding an Office of Trust of Profit under the United States, shall be appointed an Elector.
–Article II, Section 1, paragraph 2, Constitution of the United States.
Amended 1961 to include the District of Columbia as if a state with three Electors.                (Twenty-Third Amendment).

Even if he wins more states than Hillary Clinton, Donald Trump could justifiably complain that the system is rigged.

In fact, he could win all of the states with 5 or fewer Members of the House of Representatives (that’s 24 states plus D.C.) plus the four largest states (California, Texas, Florida and New York) – more than half the states – and have only 267 votes in the Electoral College, 3 votes short of the 270 he needs to be elected President.

Trump seems to believe that he will win because he wills it. Never mind that he needs to win votes – from more persons than are already his devotees.

This scenario proves it is rigged:
This list of Electoral College votes is grouped by number of Members of the House:
Single Member states                       Two Member states
(7 states, 3 votes each = 21)            (5 states, 4 votes each = 20)
Alaska                                            Hawaii
Delaware                                        Idaho

North Dakota                                New Hampshire
South Dakota                                 Rhode Island
Vermont
Wyoming
Plus D.C., total votes = 24

Three Member states                        Four Member states
(3 states, 5 votes each = 15)              (6 states, 6 votes each = 36)
Nebraska                                          Arkansas
New Mexico                                     Iowa
West Virginia                                   Kansas
                                                        Mississippi
Five Member States                           Nevada
(3 states, 7 votes each = 21)              Utah
Connecticut
Oklahoma
Oregon

        Totals
                                Electoral
Number of states:       Votes:
1 member  7                 21
2               5                 20

4               6                 36
5               3                 21
               24 states      113 votes
plus DC                          3
                                  116

Plus Florida, 27 members   = 29 votes
        New York, 27           = 29
        Texas, 36                  = 38
        California, 53            = 55
                                           151 votes

Grand Total    States              29   (Out of 51 including D.C.)
Electoral Votes 267 – Needed to win: 270

See? It is rigged!!!
By the Founders... those “inspired” men who wrote the Constitution, as we are told.
